Still around!

  • Drinking: COFFEE (as usual)
I really seem to drop of the earth at times, don't I?
I still draw really, just don't finish anything or upload.
Hopefully that'll change, but not sure how fast.

In the meantime I have really been occupied still with the music.
Next week I'm going to the official 'release' of the DVD of a documentary for our town, one I wrote the music for myself.
It will be awesome...So yes, been occupied with writing songs for that, recording and editing them in to their final productions for the movie itself.

Also got lucky and found myself a nice guy, but abroad, so its a lot of travels or occupied weekends at times XD
This month is quite silent though, doesn't mean less to do.

Because...It is official, there will be a Full CD of WINGY!
Woot! Thus, now will be occupied on that one for quite some months.
Going to record and edit some things myself a lot, rather than doing that in the studio...So a bit more work for me than on my EP 'Bloodwings'.
Cause then I went to record in the studio for the piano and vocals, now I will be doing more myself, so quite exciting!

Anyway, so yes...I hope to finish a drawing soon though, let us see how far I'll get! I got the line-arts at least =D

If you want to keep track of me, and ma music
Go to --> [link]
Or my facebook page [link]

Feel free to check out my EP Bloodwings, and spread the word! Muahahaha =D

Means I got to start working on a cover as well, eep!

Always in my heart

Sometimes, goodbye's are really the hardest thing in life...
Especially if it is up to you to decide wether it is that time or not.

When I was 8, I got this lovely gift, which was a cute little kitten, which I named Bouletteke. She was the cuuuuuuutest ever.
We grew up together, it was nice...I remember when I was small, I rode her around in this baby-trolly thing...or when I played with my dolls, she used to sit in this horse-stable thing of barbie (lol, embarassing past of mine), that had this water system...And she knew how to make it work, and then she used to drink from it...it was brilliant.
She was always around me.

As the years went by we both grew older, but we of course stayed close.
Last years she often was in my room, on my bed, sleeping, she was always somewhere close to me.
Cutie pic of her sleeping --> :thumb39186701:

Never were she sick and she were just dandy, a very happy kitty.
What I adored most of her were her eyes though, with them brown flecks in it. :)
:thumb16178796:

Anyway, about a month ago, just before we went to England, she seemed to have gone quite deaf, we were already wondering why she seemed more secluded, and on her own somewhere.
Often we had to search for her as she just didn't show up when we called.

She seemed fine otherwise though, vet said it might've been old age, she just turned 13 after all.
So no big worries, and a week later we were off to England.
During those five days she apparently got ill, crawled in to dark and secluded places and refused to eat.
My brother tried to take as good care as possible for her, at least trying to give her things as catmilk, etc.

She was skin over bones and took her to the vet immediately, the morning after we came back from holidays.
Nearly I had to put her to sleep, but I decided to give her a second chance, and she was put on fluids and some IV things, etc, to strenghten.

All seemed better the following weeks, minus an attack or two, but her senses went down, she went blind, she couldn't smell anymore, she barely could find her food or drink, so we fed her with a spoon, and so, put her on the litter box, but she was happy.
We gotten even more close the last week when she slept with me at nights as well now. She purred, it was sweet.

Sadly enough she seemed to loose bladder control at a certain point, and that night she just lost her orientation, she didn't even realise at times she were with me, on my bed.
That morning she lost once again bladder control when I carried her to her litter box, and she seemed well out of it, just laying there...
It was then that we called to the vet, with the difficult desicion, she had suffered enough.

Can't believe what a day that was, one of the most sad days in my life.
Deciding over her, having to say goodbye...I really treasured those last moments and days...I held her when they put her to sleep...it was peaceful...
And when the vet told, she really had nothing left of energy, seeing how unusually fast it worked, he said it would've been a matter of days...And that we prevented her from the worst.
So now she was able to go, with love, and care...

Think the hardest thing was, when we burried her...I carefully placed her in there...it broke my heart, but I needed it, as a goodbye.
(jee...typing this is making me cry...and been a week).

Now I got a picture on my mobile of her...will let that beautiful photo from above here framed...and I'm going to buy a lovely statue for where she's been burried.

Anyway...after 13 years, and now she's gone, I came to realise, just how much she been a part of me.
Feels like I got some empty space in me now...I shared everything with her, to happiness, the sadness...She always were with me.
I miss that really...I also miss not having her around on my bed anymore, its really, something odd to get used to.
Especially after 13 years...

She was my first pet, my first real friend...
Glad to have shared a big part of my life with her, if not the most important part of my life as well.

Love your animals and pets, they are truly the most important thing in your life I think...:)

So yes, been a week now...haven't had any breaks since my return from England...Went on and on, my Addison seemed going fine as well.
Now I got terribly ill though, the stress and care caught up with me.
Also because just after that, I had to write music for a short-movie thing, still have some songs to go.
Luckily it got approved =D
Its excting!
Though after that, I might need a good rest!!

Now, enough ramblings I suppose
Tah tah peeps!

people with a disability or illness!!!

Here are all the details, please visit the facebook group, and join if possible! ;)

--

Join K2’s first artistic contest!

While we are building out the joys of K2 further, it is time to get started on things as these as well!
So how about we all sit and get them talented hands to work!

Join our first contest, which will be focusing on the joy of drawing / painting!

So let us get some simple set of rules going.

1 - K2 focuses on people with an illness or disability, with artistic talents, so…of course, if you want to join, I am afraid that I have to decline the ‘healthy’ ones.

2 – Any medium in your drawing / paintings is allowed, be it traditional, or things done in photoshop, and of such the like… (though rather no 3D arts like Daz, etc, just to keep things fair of course!)

3 – Subject – Portray how you witness life, while being in the situation your in…How you experience things, just portray ‘you’, in a way.

4 – Give us a little explanation with your work of art, of what you are going through, and what the meaning is behind the picture!

5 – mail your work to wingy@merehinya.com AND info@chalkline.eu by the --10th of July--. Then the --15th of July-- we’ll announce the winner and show all of the artworks that have been sent, on an online gallery, with of course all copyrights remaining to their rightful owners. If you have a website or want your contacts mentioned, be sure to mention it in the mail if you sent your work!

6 – We can’t grand our winner much, but hopefully that one will be pleased with a piece of artwork (once I found a proper artist, it will be mentioned here!), which shall be sent by postage to you!

7 – Gather all up in the meantime and discuss everything here --> [link]

...ain't it amazing?
Haha, it is like the first time in AGES that I join up in a competition, never were that much of a competition freak.
Mostly cause I fuss over the ones that actually win and sometimes I wonder 'wtf were they thinking?'
Kinda like with idols...all them horrible singers that win and you go 'wtf, they can't sing!'

LOL

Anyway...NOW...
I'm joining in yes, that good vs. evil thing...It seems nice.
I have a very nice idea, (I won't say WHAT), but it makes one think (or I hope), on what can be defined as good and evil...*nods*

That said...I have to get that done in a couple of weeks (even though there's still a month but I want to be done on time)...together with an intro-song I have to compose for peeps that do an animation...
Luckily that is going rather well and I hope I can do the vocal-recordings tomorrow...Or at least the basic ones...so I can see what guidance beside the rhythm fits on it ^^"

So have to do that, the drawing...after that I have to mix up the other song for those people as well but that one weren't that important...so I have a bit more time with that one. =D

I also have a few other artsies laying about that I want to CG sometime, especially now that I have my iMac...Must install XP and photoshop on its ^^
OH, and must finish that Hugh Laurie portrait too, LOL

And between -all- that, I suffer from serious health-issues...hospital visits a plenty ^^" Kind of dull >,>

Now, remember!
I HAVE A CD! (lol!)
Dun forget to check it out xD -- [link]

Must...update

Oh, it has been ages...I haven't done any proper updates in a while, but then again I have been extremely busy.

Been really focused on my CD, ways to promote and advertise it, etc...Also have been working on other songs, etc, especially now that I am a proud owner of an Imac now and I can work to my hearts content on mixes, etc...
Working with Logic Pro 8...Its going smooth, besides that one time I been looking for the reason why records missed half of the notes...Seemed my brother had pulled out my gearbox from my mac so the poor midi-thing couldn't handle it all by itself, lol.

Now I should just install bootcamp on it, so I can install photoshop, and get working on them drawings again!
Though I have been doing a Hugh Laurie portrait now (should continue it!), which was on request, so I hope to finish it someday, but man, that guy is hard to draw =o

Besides that it has been up & down for me, struggling with health again.
Just had a majour down in love life, I have a bad tendency for either have bad timing for things or liking men you just can't reach.
And the guys that -do- like me...eh, no thankies, lol...Ah wells

Now...Before I end this journal.
